My name is Eric Reed. I graduated from BYU-Idaho in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and graduated from Idaho State University in 2007 with a Masters of Business Administration. I became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 2009.
I started my career at a local CPA firm where I solidified my understanding of accounting and gained solid experience in tax and audit work. After three years with the CPA firm I moved to the private sector as the controller of a worldwide powersports clothing company. While there, I was involved in the sale of the business to a large publicly traded company. My next career change took me to a produce company where I was the CFO responsible for the finances of 28 business's and divisions with over 600 employees and revenue in the hundreds of millions. In 2020 I went out on my own to start Peak Accounting Solutions and offer financial solutions to a variety of clients.
I was raised on a family farm in Southeast Idaho and have settled with my own family in the same beautiful area. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family in the outdoors with activities such as hunting, backpacking, skiing, and riding motorbikes.
